In Kelantan, if Serunding is mentioned on a menu, many people will think of Kampung Laut in Tumpat, a village close to Kelantan River, known for its best Serunding in the State. Generally, Serunding is a ready to eat side dishes. It can be served with bread, rice, ketupat, lontong or lemang. Nowadays, it is well accepted among the Non-Malay races.
